Correction and Retraction Policy

Mariobre: Journal of Marketing Management and Innovative Business Review is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record.

Corrections

Corrections may be issued when errors are identified in a published article that affect the accuracy, clarity, or interpretation of the content but do not invalidate the overall findings. The editorial team will assess the nature and significance of the error and determine whether a formal correction notice is necessary. Any correction will clearly identify the affected article and describe the changes made.

Retractions

Retraction may be considered when there is reliable evidence that a published article contains fabricated or falsified data, substantial plagiarism, serious ethical violations, or major errors that render its findings unreliable. Retraction may also be considered in cases of duplicate publication or other serious breaches of publication ethics.

Procedure

Concerns regarding a published article may be submitted to the editorial office with relevant supporting evidence. The editorial team will assess the concerns fairly and may request explanations from the authors or consult appropriate experts and institutions where necessary.

Decisions concerning corrections and retractions will be based on the available evidence and the seriousness of the issue. Authors will normally be given an opportunity to respond before a final decision is made, except where urgent action is necessary to protect the integrity of the scholarly record.

When an article is corrected or retracted, the journal will publish an appropriate notice, provide a clear explanation where possible, and maintain a transparent record of the article's publication status. Retracted articles will remain identifiable as retracted in the journal archive, rather than being silently removed, except where removal is legally required or otherwise justified under applicable policies.

The journal aims to follow recognized publication ethics principles and relevant guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
